I was catching up on some news.  Sometimes I let the WSJ stack up for a few days before I sit down during some relatively quiet moments to see what’s been in the news lately.

On page A15 of Tuesday, April 24th’s Wall Street Journal I saw an opinion piece by Mr. John J. DiIulio Jr.  Frankly, I don’t know who this guy is, but he wrote about Chuck Colson’s ministry so I started to read it, only to discover it was a testament to the life of Chuck Colson, who died on the 21st.

The work the Lord accomplished through this man’s life, will only be fully grasped on the golden streets of heaven.  In the meantime, we should grieve, but only temporarily for this great loss to modern Christianity.  As with the passing of any Christian, we should grieve temporarily in his loss, and marvel in the Lord’s Magesty and Awe, in how He redeems the lost for His Purpose.  May the Lord richly bless the Colson family and Chuck Colson’s ministry.
